: Director of WorshipPosition Summary
The Pastor of Worship is responsible for ensuring that
the worship experience in their assigned service meets the highest standards of excellence and quality. He/she acts as the "producer" of their assigned worship service
under the direction of the Director of Worship.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Formulate the weekly rundown for their assigned service for review and approval by Director of Worship;
2. Oversee the delivery and execution of their assigned service and ensure that the service flows according to plan;
3. Act as the point person for Pastor during their assigned service;
4. Act as the "eyes and ears" of the overall service(view the service from the eyes of a Producer);
5. Ensure that the facility is meeting the excellence core value before and after their assigned service;
6. Acts as the host for all special guests attending their assigned service and ensure Pastor's preparation for guests accordingly;
7. Provide supervision and guidance to the Coordinator of Worship for their assigned worship service;
8. Ensure that problems encountered are solved and learning
occurs as a result that help to ensure continuous improvement of the worship service experience in collaboration with the Director of Worship.
